i appreciate the move, since i wasn't sure where to post it. i can do the dx(it's attached), but it would be pointless, this has happened on 4 devices(win10 surface pro, win7 laptop, win7 desktop-which is now a win10 desktop completely rebuilt last spring with new hard drives etc). this has happened after hard drive replacements, complete uninstall-reinstall(all folders deleted etc).

Did you install the game from Origin on each computer and then start a new game every time?

yes, these are all fresh installs from origin and no copied files.

Are all games independent that you tried with new Sims or did you download Sims from the gallery on each save ?
Any programs that could be interfering that are installed on each computer ?
Have you tried a clean boot ?

If it works in that mode, then it's a background program interfering and you will need to find out which one.

No gallery items, no cc, fresh install on a brand new hard drive on the current desktop. I used to do tech support, so I get the dx file and safe boot q's. I've removed the game from the other two systems (the desktop was rebuilt after a glorious CPU death). This should not happen through two OS, and 4 different computers. I deliberately left this desktop clean of CC after the install for about 2 weeks, it still happens.
