HELP A HOPELESS SIMS 4 PLAYER

I need your help!

Since updating The Sims 4 a week ago I haven't been able to play. The game starts up fine, but when I (on the front page) clicks on my family it begins loading a bit, but then crashes. I have tried everything.. updating my computer, uninstalled and installed the game again and epaired the game more than once..

I have also tried moving the electronic folders to my desktop and startet the game again, and then I am able to play, but the problem is I really want to continue playing with my save file.. I have no idea what to do. Maybe someone can help me?

The file shows some of my saves folder.. (theres a lot more files on it)

A hopeless Sims 4 player haha

    @cillethesims  Most of these files don't belong in the saves folder and won't be read.  The only files that should be in saves are the ones that start with Slot_.  The rest look like Tray files and maybe some other content.

    For now, try copying one of your saves to the new Sims 4 folder and see how it runs.  Don't bring over any other content yet.  Since you're copying the save rather than moving it, you don't need to worry about the effects of any missing mods or custom content.
