Help! My sim Will not interact with objects!

Hi there i need some help, My Sim will not interact with any object and i really do not know what to do! I have re installed the game and that has not helped fix the problem... anyone know what to do?

Unfortunately just spoke to an online adviser who basically told me that all you can do for issues like this, is to just post on here, and wait till the developers fix it... I am very unhappy!
