Are you using mods in your game ? Namely this one: fogitymenuenabler ?

If so, remove it from your game it's incompatible with the new patch

I've only just started playing sims 4, no mods, straight game, and it's done this. Not even sure how to save without the control panels. Any help would be AWESOME. thanks.

If you right click on TS4 in origin and hit 'repair game' it should work!

    I'm having the same problem with mods recently loaded this week. I do not see the mod quoted above, and I tried to repair the game in Origin but nothing is working. Please help!

  Just wondering if you click 'repair game' if you lose all your families/builds? Thank you!

    You shouldn’t lose anything but as far as gameplay idk about cc or mods
