Horrible ever-present buzzing static noise when playing no matter what I do.
The problem: For the past three days my sims game has had some sort of bug. Any time I have the game open, a static noise plays in the background. Doesn't matter if I'm in the main menu, manage world...
@lizzylovebird Have you tested different audio devices? If not, please do so now, specifically with only one plugged in at a time (restart your computer after disconnecting the others) and using different types of connections. For example, if you typically use Bluetooth speakers, test headphones that are NOT Bluetooth.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
