How can I lower my cpu temperature while playing?

My laptop is about 5 months old and has a  17-10875H processor, which I understand has a maximum temperature of 100C. When playing, and also during things like virus scans my hardware monitoring prog...

Oh the fans definitely work - they're quite loud on this model - a known issue.

What could I do in-game to reduce cpu temps? - windowed or full screen? Origin offline? fps?

The only thing in-game that will help a bit is turning the graphics down or lowering the resolution.
