I bought Sims 4 (German) on another account a while ago but as I had my accounts merged yesterday I only got an English version in my library. I told the employee that it was English but he said that's no problem, I would be able to change the language later. I looked for an hour on how to change the language but I couldn't get it to work. Any tips?

are you still living in a German speaking country ? Were both your accounts created in the same country ?
You should be able to change it on Origin but if that's only giving you english, then something went wrong and you'll need to contact them again.
In Origin right click The game and select Game Options. On the Advanced tab choose German on the Game language dropdown. OK out and Origin will start to download necessary language files.
Thank you for your reply @crinrict! I'm still living in Germany and the account was created here. When I try to change the language in Origin I can only select English (US). I'll contact them again now.
hi i was just wondering how i can change the language. I recently felt like it would be easier for me to play in Polish, but the only option i have is to play in english us. i have tried changing the locale value to polish, as well as using regedit, and then i checked in the advanced downolad settings and i could only see english. i got the game in may 2019, during the anniversary offer when you could get it for free, maybe that changed something. Please help me :-/
if you purchased the game in the UK the only available language is English.
