If both have a job from the GTW (Get to Work) jobs, which are doctor, detective or scientist, you can decline going with one Sim and you'll get the option to go to work with the other.- Anonymous10 years ago
But i cannot do that, if i decline going to work with one sim and when the other sim goes to work it does not prompt me to go to work with him/her. The sim just goes to work and i have to wait until they come back from work.
@crinrict do you know if this is a bug? I know this one: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4-Bug-Reports/GTW-Don-t-get-the-option-to-control-sim-in-active-career/td-p/4458472
But this seems a bit different.- Fred_vdp10 years agoHero+
I also once had an issue where I had two Sims with a GTW job, and I didn't get the prompt after declining to go to the first one's job. This only happened once, however.

Do they go at the same time ?

yes but i decline to go to work with one sim, but it does not prompt me for the other sim

Could be that's because the other is already set to go to work on their own since they're leaving at the same time.
Let me see if I can find out something about that.

Could you try the following: Make the Sim you want to go to work with active before they go to work. You will then be prompted for that Sim and the other goes to work like an NPC.
This way you can switch which Sim you want to control.
