how do I make a deskstop shortcut for the Sims 4?
I wasn't thinking when I skipped over the check box for it. Also I'm not really tech savvy so pictures or steps would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

- Navigate to this folder: programs(x86)\Origin_Games\thesims4\game\bin (path may vary depending on your installation)
- there you see a file called ts4 or ts4.exe.
- Right click on that file and choose Send To .. Desktop
- This will create a short called ts4.exe on your desktop
- You can then rename the shortcut on the desktop by clicking on it until the text is highlighted.
Notice that if you use a 64bit version of Windows you can instead create a shortcut to ts4_x64.exe. This can improve performance. Notice that if you have less than 4GB of RAM (very unlikely) you should run the 32 bit version (ts4.exe) regardless of if Windows is 64bit.
