@GooglyGoodGaming You have to understand how a delete file works. First did you delete the files in the game or did you go into the save game folder and delete them. If you used the operating system (Windows) the files should be in the waste basket. If you deleted them in the game, the game probably used the operating system to delete the files by passing the waste basket. Once a file is "deleted" it is marked as open space so it is wise to recover as soon as possible before that free space is used by another program. Once another program has used the space or even part of the space the file may (probably) be beyond recovery. There are programs out there that will look for and undelete files. One of the first 3 words in computer I learned are backup, backup, and backup. To manually undelete a file you will need a program that can read AND write the file allocation table. I do not recommend a casual user to try the manual method as it is possible to damage the operating system image and leave you with a non working system. Remember the sooner you try to undelete a file your chances are better.
If the device is a ssd once the deleted file is trimmed it will be unrecoverable.
