@GooglyGoodGaming If you want to try recovering the save, you're looking for a file labeled Slot_xxxxxxxx.save , where the x's are replaced with an eight-digit hexidecimal number. You can also search your computer for Slot_ and see what, if anything, turns up. As an example, the first save you make in a given user folder will be labeled Slot_00000002.save, and the game will count upwards from there. The files with a .verx on the end of their names are backups of the save with the same number.
Just so you know, two households that are in the same world and progress alongside each other are actually part of the same save. If the households progress independently, for example you play one world until sim-Tuesday and when you switch to the other, it's still sim-Sunday, they're separate saves.
