How to connect sofas together in the new Dine Out pack??

So I am trying to create resturants but so far have only once been able to connect 2 sofas together to a table?? The rest of the time I have had to use normal chairs as the sofas won't connect togeth...

No that is not what I am looking for. What I want to do is connect two sofa chairs with the table in between the both of them! I have only successfully done this once! I have seen youtube videos with people who have no issues achieving it! Yet I seem to have all the issues in the world trying to do it lol.
