How to Disable Record Video? (V key)

I have this same problem so +1... this is an old post so I dont know how effective this reply even is. But the solution to just go and delete the video after is... unfortunate. Why in the world is there not a rebind option or a disable option.

I am constantly hitting v by mistake and not realizing the green border that I'm recording until it times out.. and yeah tons of memory wasted of me sitting around making walls. The main reason my v is hit because b is the keybind to make walls and thats my go to quick bind to just put a wall down. So thats probably the main way I end up recording.

I love the record feature, thats handy - but why in the world is there not an option to make this key something else. Because of it, I would rather disable it. Seems to not be an option.
