how to get the sims 4 on hard drive
so I put a hard drive on my computer so i have space for sims . but all of my folders like electronic arts is still on my main drive how would i move it ? if i download a mod or anything its still g...
@winterr7456 Did you buy an external hard drive? If so, it's not a good idea to move the entire Documents directory to that drive: if the drive is ever unplugged, Windows may react badly. But you can create a symbolic link to move the Sims 4 user folder instead:
If the second hard drive is an internal drive, you can still use a symbolic link, or you can redirect Documents as mentioned. Here's how you'd do it:
