Could you have a peek in your Game Library.
- Right click on 'The Sims 4' and choose 'Show Game Details'
An overlay moves in
- Click on the 'Expansion packs' tab.
See if you can install them through there.
- I have the same problem as above and tried your suggestion but it didn’t do anything ☹️
