@syrd03 When you install and launch the game, you're going to have two Sims 4 folders. One contains the game's program files and is in C:\Program Files\EA Games by default, but you can choose a different folder when installing. If you're not sure where this folder is, open the EA App game library, click Sims 4, select Manage > View properties, and you'll see the file path there:
The game's user folder is in Documents\Electronic Arts regardless of where you've installed it. And yes, you can move this folder, but there are a few caveats. First, you absolutely do not want it in the same location as the program files. This can and will cause all sorts of problems and will also make troubleshooting much more complicated.
Second, there are certain locations where it's best not to place this folder. That would include anywhere within C:\Program Files, which on most systems has extra protections that make it more difficult to alter any data inside. You don't want to have to give admin permissions every time you add or remove a mod, and you don't want the game to need those permissions just to save your progress.
At any rate, pick a folder that's not in Program Files and use this method:
