How to reinstall sims 4? ?

Okayy so I haven't played sims4 for a about a year now, today I tried to play it again. However when I logged into orgin the game didn't pop up in "my games" tab. And when I tried to filter my games to "hidden games" it was grayed out so I can't click on it! So I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the game, but now when I try to reinstall it orgin is saying that the promo code is already used cause I used it when I bought the hard copy. So now I can't install it and it's not showing up in my games tab what do I do, I still have the case and discs can someone please help, or have I wasted $80 for nothing? ?

    Try these:

    The game no longer shows up in Origin

    Try the following things: 

    • Restart Origin.
    • Log out and back in and use the email address instead of the user name. Make sure to use the one you used to register the game in the first place.
    • Reinstall Origin.
    • Restart your router/modem.
    • Make sure the game isn't hidden by accident. To check, put the filter to Hidden Games. If it's there, right-click on the game to unhide ((click on the spoiler below to view an exemplary screenshot))
