How to share expansion packs to new Steam account?

I have long since played the Sims 4 under my husband's Steam account, which I used to purchase the packs and expansions. I have since bought my own computer and am looking for a way to share my purchased expansion packs on my new computer. I am using family share on Steam, but that only seems to give me the base game and I'm looking for a way to play with all the expansions packs at the same time he uses his Steam account. Thanks for any help!

Games and DLC packs are tied to the account they were bought on. The base game is free so you have that. You can try to contact Steam support and ask if they can transfer the packs bought on Steam to your account.

I'm experiencing this right now. Have you managed to transfer them and how did you do it?

@FhangN You can't transfer Sims 4 content between two EA or Steam accounts, or from the EA App to Steam. (You can download your EA App-owned packs into a Steam install and use them that way.) So if the packs you want to use are owned by someone else's account, you're stuck borrowing that account or rebuying the content.
