I can not change outfits on the star wars pack/ world

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? recent
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of them except the spooky stuff pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can't change my Batuu outfit at all. it gives me the option then just disappears.
What happens when the bug occurs? the option in the sims taskbar disappears.
What do you expect to see? I expect to change my outfit
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have tried to repair the game with origin, tried a different household, and restarted my computer and did not help.

    @crinrict @I have tried both options and the task quickly disappears from my sims task bar with out completing the action. Or the CAS menu doesn’t even pop up with the option

    @crinrict No I will try that when I go on break for work. If this doesn’t work I think I might have to try to uninstall and reinstall the game :/

    @allieleap101 To be sure, plan outfit doesn't work either ? I mean if you just have one outfit, you can't really change it.

    @crinrict it works for my regular outfits in the sims neighborhood, just not in the new star wars pack. you should be able to choose a Batuu outfit but the game will not open the options menu. this is the only issue I'm having with new game pack

    @crinrict ok I was able to get back onto sims and started a new game and that fixed the issue. for some reason I cannot use my other saved game for it with my sims I have now. had to create a whole new sim. Thank you for the help!

    @crinrict no, I do not. Also discovered that on my original game it does not do the welcome task list, however, the task list starts up with my new created sim
