I cannot place objects in Build/Buy

@corndolphins @meganmcevillyy and @Rheandor Please remove the Better Build/Buy mod, if you have it, and delete localthumbcache.package as well.
If that doesn't help, or you don't have the mod, please move your entire Mods folder to your desktop, delete localthumbcache (again), and test.

Quick update...
So, I removed MCCC and that was the broken mod. Not sure if deaderpool know it is broken I can't seem to find them on twitter and I don't have discord to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issues I had. But yeah, defo MCCC.

- @meganmcevillyy MCCC is not broken. If you are getting LE's, it's not MCCC that's causing them. MCCC shows errors from other mods. Removing MCCC stops the errors from showing but you're still getting them.

You can keep version 8.0.0 and if you are a Patron version 8.1.0.2!
If you are a Legacy User, please keep the version 6.6.0, you do not need to update it!I tested all my mods individually adding them back to the folder one by one and that was the one that was causing the issue for BB mode. I’ll redownload if they’re saying it’s compatible 🤷🏻♀️

@slippertossu Please test with no mods at all—move the Mods folder to the desktop—and delete localthumbcache.package as well. If the game is back to normal, you can use the 50/50 method to sort through your mods:

I took all of my mods out and slowly checked which one of them caused the problem. BUT! My game started to work when I took them all out and put them back on 🤔🤗 I'm glad it took only that but at the same time I'm quite confused why.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just open build mode and try to place an object
What happens when the bug occurs? When I’m trying to finish my house I can only place walls and pools, everything else will not allow me to click on it and place it in the world. I’ve already checked if it was my mods that caused this but it’s not.
What do you expect to see? That I can actually place objects in the game.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
There’s no screens shots to be shown. As soon as you go into the game and try to build you should see the problem.

Please make sure to delete localthumbcache file after removing mods.
@kellygirl924 You'll need an updated version of Better Build/Buy. Since the current version is dated two days ago, it should be fine, but test anyway to make sure.

I have done this and it still won't work. My game only works with mods disabled. I've tried removing each single mod and cc that I've had just to see if it was a single problem and none of that has worked. When I go to bb mode to get a counter for an example all the the places where it showed the different types of ways the counters can go is all messed up as well. Is there any other options I could try?
@bigpuppydogeyes If you move your Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package, is the problem still present? If it's gone, what happens when you add back a single mod?
The problem still is present after I tried your method. As I put all my mods and cc back one by one it still would not let me use the bb mode. I trying for every last option before I remove everything and Reinstall.
hi I deleted localthumbcache.package and it keeps showing up and I don't have better build/buy
@josiesimmerrr The localthumbcache file will regenerate whenever you launch the game. The point of deleting it is to spawn a fresh copy.
Have you also removed the entire Mods folder? Please try it if you haven't.
if i remove my mods and put it back in will it help? or is it to test if that's the culprit? also once i remove my mods how do input them back in?
