I can't bake!!!!!

I have played The Sims 4 for a while and I used to bake my cakes just fine. Recently i have noticed that my sims cannot bake the cakes. My sim started baking the cake but after a while, they suddenly...

    Check if there's something in the oven by clicking on it. You should get an option to remove that if there is.

Nothing in the oven. This started happening after the most recent upgrades. Have all packs minus vacuums and retro sportswear.
