I can't do anything with my run-away cat

Question

My cat ran away from home and his icon below turned grey.Then he came back but the icon still not active.

The problem is when he was sick, I took him to vet but I can't click the machine at the vet clinic.

It seems like I can't do anything with my run-away cat!

What should I do?

try moving the whole family out and back in via household manager.

Are you using mods/cc in your game ?

Could you post a picture of what your UI looks like with the cat greyed out) ?
