I can't download the new upgrade for the Sims 4

Hi,
I've been trying to update my sims 4 for the last few weeks but it won't let me it's just saying verifying files and unless it lets me Download the upgrade I can't play
I've tried everything I've unistalled it and re installed it, same goes with origin I've unistalled that and re installed it

Can some one please tell me how to fix the Problem ?

    Make sure your security software isn't blocking the connection to Origin.com or Origin.exe

    It won't go past then verifying game files

    Did you check on your security software ? Antivirus, Firewall ?
