I can't update or open The Sims 4

Hi everyone, I see today that there's an update available for the Sims 4 when I open it in Origin. If I click update, Origin closes out. If I cancel the notification and click on the Sims 4 game, Or...

    Instead of starting the game from a shortcut Open Origin and do the upgrade.
