I had to format my hard drive,

.  I have bought Sims 4 and downloaded it from the ea site. Since then I had to format my hard drive. How do I go about re-installing Sims 4

    Try these:

    The game no longer shows up in Origin

    Try the following things: 

    • Restart Origin.
    • Log out and back in and use the email address instead of the user name. Make sure to use the one you used to register the game in the first place.
    • Reinstall Origin.
    • Restart your router/modem.
    • Make sure the game isn't hidden by accident. To check, put the filter to Hidden Games. If it's there, right-click on the game to unhide ((click on the spoiler below to view an exemplary screenshot)) - See Source
    • Get in touch with an EA Game Advisor.

    Download Origin from Origin.com and install. After installing log in to Origin with your account (the one you bought The Sims 4 with) and have a look under 'My games'.
    If The Sims 4 is there, install the game through there.

    I have downloaded Origin and under MY GAMES Sims 4 is not there.  Now what?  It is however under my Order History.

    Try these:

    Thank you very much, that did the trick signing out of origin and back in with email address.  I appreciate all your help.
