I have to restart Sims 4 every time to get sound after update?

Okay so every time I turn on my computer and start sims for the first time now after the recent update, I don't get any sound. I get sound if I exit the game and restart it, however this is becoming a pain and it shouldn't need to be done. Especially because my game takes a while to load up.  I've already tried repairing the game. My PC, origin, and in game audio are all turned on and at 100%, and everything else on my PC has sound. I've tried turning off and removing mods. How do I fix this?

Go to the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims4 and delete Options.ini file The game will recreate it after turning on.
Then fix the game in Origin
    Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.

If it will not work try doing a factory reset as described in this post:

    I don't work for EA
  • I find that EA games love eating my sound whenever there is an update to Origin. If I were the cunning sort and wanted to counter piracy I would have my system's sound brick whenever there was a new update to their DRM gateway. Not saying EA would do something like that, but is its quite suspect...
