I need help because my game won't launch after I bought new kits

Question

After I bought the new kits (I didn't play for a while, since March), my game won't launch. It starts for a few seconds and then disappears and EA app opens without me asking. Everytime I try to launch the game, even with the EA app open, it just won't launch. I tried repairing it - it didn't work. Please help me. I don't want to ease my game progress and start all over again - I recreated the Sims 2 original worlds and families from stratch.

@MaryLight07&nbsp; Please clear the EA App's cache:

and repair the game: go into the EA App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage &gt; Repair.

If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder.&nbsp; Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents &gt; Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.&nbsp; (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)&nbsp; Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
