I need help deciding between a new gaming laptop

  • @fairtradedavies  All three of these laptops are capable of running all current Sims 4 content on ultra graphics settings.  The second has a somewhat-faster graphics card than the other two, which you might appreciate if you want to add Reshade or high poly custom content, or you want to run the game close to the full 144 fps the laptop screens are capable of displaying as much as possible.  But it's not a necessary upgrade.

The third laptop will run a bit cooler than the other two because of its processor, with the first running cooler than the second, but that is also not a problem in general.  If you play with headphones, you might not notice any difference at all.  And as long as you play on a hard flat surface (e.g. a desk) and don't block the vents, all three models should have no trouble cooling themselves; it's just a question of noise.

Point is, any of these is an excellent option, and the question is whether you're interested in paying more for a hardware upgrade or a slightly cooler and quieter experience.  There are no wrong answers here, just good and subjectively better, depending on your priorities.
