I own sims 4 but it wants me to renew ea membership?

I bought sims 4 years ago and have over 6000 hours in the game and multiple packs but when i booted up origin today is says i have to reenew my ea membership to play the game?? have i missed somethin...

    I have the same problem today and they told me that this is a ''current issue'' and the team is working on it... but it's been almost a year

        Yeah I do, i bought it in 2020 (Digital Deluxe edition)
