[INFO] CAN I RUN IT - Please post here

There's many threads where people ask if they can run the game.

Let's make one thread here where you can post your DxDiag and have them check.

If you want someone to have your computer specs checked, pleas post your Computer's DxDiag in here and subscribe to it so you get informed when there's an answer.

Find the recommended card and find yours. The value should be higher.

The Minimum requirements are as follows. Be aware that those are bare minium and you might run into issue once Add-Ons and stuff are rolling out.

REQUIRED: Internet connection required for product activation.  

After the inital activation, Origin can be put in offline mode but you can't turn of or uninstall Origin.

OS: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 

PROCESSOR: 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (For computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent) MEMORY: At least 2 GB RAM 

HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games 

DVD-ROM: DVD ROM drive required for installation only 

VIDEO CARD: 128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better, Intel GMA X4500 or better 

SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c Compatible 

DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c compatible 

INPUT: Keyboard and Mouse

    I will wait until the Pre-Load is available. Then If it doesn't work I will give it back.

    It's above minimum but below recommended specs. You only have a grapbics chip and your CPU and RAM amount are on the low side.

    You should be able to run it on low settings though. Be aware that i3s do have a tendency to overheat earlier.

    It's not a great system and overall below recommended specs. It does fulfill minimum specs so you should be able to play it on low settings.

    Did you try the demo ? How is that working out for you ?

    the demo works with the highest settings, and Sims 3 worked pretty well (even with some eps)

    I normally use a Mac, but since Sims 4 is only available on PC I'm having to use our families older Dell Inspiron I6400. I downloaded the demo but when I tried to play it gave me this error message:

    "Can't run the Sims 4 with the video card in this system."

    Can someone please help me find a solution to be able to play the Sims 4? If I need to upgrade something on my computer could you please post a link with what I should get?

    I would like to know what you might say to my laptops suitability to run Sims 4. Demo runs fine so far.

    "Can you run it" said no to my CPU (minimum requirements), while I was told in the intel-subreddit it might be as good as the suggested one. No, when testing for recommended  from "Can you run it" for CPU and graphic card.
