Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Unable to Start, Initialization Error

So I recently redowloaded TS4. I have it downloaded through EA. However, when I go to open it, this shows up:

I've tried everything I've found, I've reinstalled EA and ts4 many times, I've restarted my computer, I've let ts4 through Windows Defender, I've turned off my firewall, I've repaired the game, I've gone into my folders and launched the game through there TS4_DX9_64 & the other two launchers with similar names, and nothing has worked. I have a Windows 11 laptop. Can someone help?

    @akayce6453  Have you set exceptions for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64?  Which one of the first two you use depends on whether you're running the game in DirectX 9 or 11 mode, which in turn depends on your hardware: Nvidia and AMD GPUs will default to DX11, Intel to DX9.

    Yes, I've made exceptions for all three. I checked my Device Manager to see my hardware, and it says under the Display Adapters section 'Qualcomm(R) Adreno(TM) 618 GPU'.

    @akayce6453  That should default to DirectX 9 mode too.  Please let me know whether any of the suggestions in the "already running" thread helps.
