Installed but not opening

So I got the email that enabled me to play the demo of Sims 4, it's installed and the icon is on my desktop but it is not opening!

Depends if you have a laptop or a desktop.

I think it was a laptop, right ? Laptops usually can't be upgraded so you might need to look into something new.

It was on a desktop computer, but now I tried again on a new laptop and it workd absolutey fine! Thank you for staying besides me every step of this turmoil anyway and I wish you a prosperous and happy life
