Installing The Sims on a external hard drive from EA
Is there a way to install the sims on an external hard drive on EA ? Origin would let me do it, but it just starts preparing then stops on EA.
@1Sydneyb It's supposed to work fine, and most users who've tried have no issue with the process. So please clear the EA App's cache:

and restart your computer. Then create a new folder on the external, one with a different name than the one you were trying to use before, and tell the EA App to install Sims 4 there. It may help to set this as the default install location for all games, although I haven't seen any evidence that this is necessary; it's just one less thing for the App to think about.
