Hi, I am looking for a laptop that is compatible with Sims 4. I am based in the UK and have a budget up to £400.
I have come across the Acer Aspire 3 15.6in Ryzen 5 8GB 256GB Laptop (https://www.argos.co.uk/product/4013897?clickPR=plp:5:213) - will this be suitable please, or is there any alternative you would recommend?

@n94utkjr0htv Before you buy a laptop you need to consider if it meets the system requirement for Sims 4.
There's the minimum requirement and the recommended requirement. I linked the information down below so that you can compare the laptops specs to the information so that you can decide if the laptop you choose meets the requirements for running Sims 4.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I'm aware that I can check the specifications, and as an absolute amateur who hasn't delved into gaming before I believe it would be compatible. However, I was hoping to get a few opinions from others as to whether this laptop will be suitable, or if I could find something better for the price. Any help would be massively appreciated.
@n94utkjr0htv After looking at the laptop you have mentioned it looks excellent for what you need. It has a lot of features that makes it a good general purpose laptop and a good gaming laptop as well.

And at a price of 349 that's a good deal in my opinion, but again just my opinion.
@n94utkjr0htv This laptop should be able to run Sims 4, all current packs included, on medium-high to high graphics settings. Additionally, the hardware is about as good as you'd be able to find for under £500, so if you like it, it's a great choice.
If you'd like to see other equivalent options within your budget, just ask.
