Issue with build mode

I've just installed sims 4 on my laptop and when I'm in build mode. When trying to place an item down I can but I can't seem to turn the item around and rotate it? Can you suggest how I might be abl...

Check your game options if you have SIms 3 camera mode turned on. In Sims 4 mode you rotate them differently (not sure how though)

for TS4 try the keys   , .  ( the ones that have < > over them )
