Issue with Cottage Life: Sims 4 Expansion Pack

I purchased earlier on today, It has been downloaded and appears on my menu as Installed. I have tried everything I can; Repaired several times, emptied my cache, I thought uninstalling and reinstall...

@taratara549  Does any of the Cottage Living content appear in your game?  If not, please let me know what game version you're running; you can see it at the Main Menu, either along the bottom of the screen or in the lower right corner.  Please list the entire number, i.e. 1.xx.xxx.xxxx.

If some Cottage Living content appears but not all of it, please move your Mods folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache.package.

The expansion doesn't appear on menu or main menu in the expansions folder, even though it has been installed.

It's version 1.77.131.1530 

I've updated and reinstalled it with no sucess

And I don't have mods so that wasn't the issue

    @taratara549  You're running the Legacy Edition of Sims 4, which doesn't support any packs released after October 2019.  If you're not sure whether your computer can run the standard version, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

    If you are in fact stuck with the LE, you can request a refund from EA customer support.  Even though Sims 4 packs are usually not eligible for refunds, support often makes an exception in this case.

      That seemed to be the issue! I wasn't aware Legacy didn't run new expansions.
