Issue with reloading existing families
Hate not being able to play a family I have previously created. Whenever I try to play one of my familys now it says select a Sim. Seriously need this fixed!!!

I am havinga similar issue, except that it does load the family, but the UI doesn't show up and I cannot do anything aside from just let them play out their lives. I can't even access the menu to exit the game and have to force the game to stop manually using task manager.

Yes, I have tried to load the family that way as well - a box comes up with all the family members in it and I am only allowed to select one. If I select one I go into a random place in the town and are unable to play any of the other family members (they're grey). Think we need a new patch!!
@rob1381968 sounds like you traveled with a sim and you need to travel home.
@dianatro is the screen resolution correct? Sounds like your menu is falling off the screen.
You could try to hit ALT+enter and change the resolution that way in the options menu.@Phantomlover1717: It's not the screen resolution because if it were then everything would look too big and choppy. Additionally, the top bit of the UI actually does partially show up, but just doesn't work. however, the UI at the bottom is not there at all, and when I click on other sims or objects it makes the sound like I'm clicking on them, but the option menus don't show up either. As if that wasn't bad enough, most keyboard shortcuts don't work so I can't exit or save my game, or do literally anything.
I wish I could post a screenshot here so that you could see what I mean.

They are ALL grey ? Can you load your home lot in build mode and then switch from build mode to live mode ?
Or load a different family and then go back to yours ?
