I play my sims 4 alot of I was playing in my files and when I was getting cc i moved electronics arts to make a shortcut & when I went back in, everything is gone my people, houses, gameplay, and its showing the tutoirals again please help
Your Electronic Arts should stay in the same spot and have that name. If you move that the game will remake the folder.
So if you still have it move the one it made out and put the old one back in.

@Ninawmw You can not move the electronic arts folder (you can but not with a shortcut). The game is looking for that folder where you moved it from. The game is hard coded to look for the electronics arts folder where the game created it. You moved it and the game recreated a new folder in the default location. You do NOT have to move any electronic arts files or folders to install cc/mods. TS4 already creates the structure for cc/mods. All you have to do is copy cc/mods in the proper file format to the proper folder. Just move the new electronic folder and move the old electronic folder back.

How do you replace the folders?
If you want new ones, just open the game, the game will make them for you.
If you want your old ones back, put the old folder back, delete the new one en open the game.
