Jagged shadows in the game

@frosnese2  Try enabling anti-aliasing in the Nvidia Control Panel.  Right-click the desktop and select the CP, then Manage 3D Settings > Program settings, choose TS4_x64 (DX11) or TS4_DX9_x64 (DX9), whichever you want to test first.  There are several anti-aliasing settings, and you can play with them as you like; just make sure you're choosing to override the application settings.  Test both DX9 and 11 and with Edge Smoothing on and off in Sims 4's graphics settings.

If you find a combination you like, please let me know what it is.  I see reports here and there of this issue, but not a lot of feedback on what helps.

    I tested the various anti-aliasing options in the Nvidia control panel according to your instructions and unfortunately nothing helped. The shadows look exactly the same regardless of the settings (the situation is identical for DX 9 and 11).

    This is quite strange, because I could see the differences in the game itself. For example the edges of objects in the game were smooth thanks to the settings in the control panel (anti-aliasing in the game settings was completely disabled). The one exception was specifically the shadows, they completely did not change, regardless of the settings.
