Laptop / Sims 4 Compatibility
Hi, I need some technical help!
Trying to compare my new laptop to the Sims 4 requirements.
PC OS: Windows XP (SP3) Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, or Windows 8.1
I have Windows 8.1, so this is fine.
CPU: 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (for computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent)
This all means nothing to me. I don't know what to look for in my System Information and don't know any equivalents. Please advise. My 'Processor' is Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3700 @ 1.60GHz, 1601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) - Am I doomed to a Sim-less life?
RAM: At least 2GB RAM.
I have 8GB RAM. Fine again.
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required for installation only.
Yep, got one of those.
Hard drive: At least 9GB of free space and 1GB for custom content and saved games.
870GB free.
Video: 128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0.
I don't know where to find this information either. Please help!
