@e42tx3giu3sf The only way to play Sims 4 without updating is to take the EA App (not your computer, just the App) offline before launching the game. But you shouldn't be seeing nearly so many updates. There were two back to back today and yesterday, the standard patch and then an emergency patch, but the previous update was in January. So if you're being prompted to update more regularly, that's a clear system issue.
In that case, please let me know whether you've installed Sims on on an external drive, and what antivirus you use, if any.
I used to play sims 4 a lot and since my laptop didn't have enough space to update it, i would do this. However now I am trying to do it but with the new EA app thing it won't work. Any suggestions? xx

@LucyBellx You should be able to play without updating after taking the EA App offline. However, if the only reason you're not updating is the lack of space on your computer, try repairing instead. This should update you automatically.
Longer-term, it would be best to clear enough space for Sims 4 to update normally. That's less because of the game than for the overall health of your computer, which won't be able to install feature updates with so little free storage. When space drops too low, it can and will impact everyday tasks too, Sims 4 and eventually something as simple as opening a browser.
