Launching Issue- The Sims 4

Hello. My game won't work. When I launch the game, it opens in a small, completely white, unresponsive window in the top left corner of my screen. I played the game a few hours go, turned off my computer, and now the game just wont work. There haven't been any updates be tween now and the last time I played. I also haven't gotten any new packs or added any new custom content. I have already tried repairing the game, removing CC, and uninstalling and reinstalling. The uninstall/reinstall works, but the game breaks as soon as I put my save back in. It works fine with the custom content, but as soon as I put the save file back in it doesn't work.

I've had this problem before, and the only way to recover my save was to put the file onto a flash drive, move the file to a different computer with the Sims installed, put the file into the saves folder, then upload the family and lot to the gallery. When I move the save to a different computer, it works just fine. Is there any easier solution? The other computer I can use to fix this is a hour drive from me due to college, so I won't be able to fix it this way for a while. I've tried to find a solution for this everywhere. I've also tried what people said works for other launching issues.

 Note:

I have the most recent version of the game

   I play on Windows 10

  • @Sorra_Ilosia  So you're saying that the game works normally if you remove your save, but it doesn't even load properly if you put onlyyour save back in, no other content at all?  That's quite strange and something I don't think I've heard before.  How large is this save?  Can you load one of the backups instead?  Here's how to try:

Please also let me know what antivirus you use and whether OneDrive is running, even if you never use it.

I 100% agree that it is a strange issue. I removed ver.0 of the save and it works now. I don't know what antivirus I use and I do use OneDrive, but I only upload school work to it.  The save also isn't very large. I've played that save for a total of 10 sims days at the most. I'll let you know if this issue arises again. Thank you!
