Lipstick Shine Missing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.55.108.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP02, EP03, EP05, EP07, GP04, GP08, SP02, SP03, SP12
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In CAS, apply any lipstick that is normally shiny.
What happens when the bug occurs? All lipsticks that used to be shiny are suddenly not shiny anymore.
What do you expect to see? Lipsticks with shine...
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent update.

I thought my game might be broken and repaired it via Origin, but that didn't fix it.

@zillyjay Could you post a picture how they look in your game ?

What kind of graphics card do you have ? Could you post a picture of your ingame graphics settings ?

Hi @zillyjay Just checking, when you removed your mods and cc from the game, did you also delete the localthumbcache(?) file as some residual effects can often linger.

@crinrict I'm sorry it didn't occur to me to play with the settings before asking here. I don't know if it was "reflections" or "lighting" that did it, but I increased everything to max and now it works again. Could have sworn this used to not be necessary before the patch but oh well.
