Low FPS after recent patch

i also think ive found something related.. apparently an app called "awc.exe" has been having errors for weeks on end but i don't even know what it is, it seems to be an acer laptop component? i honestly don't know if it even relates to the issue or not
@nviiw According to Google, AWC.exe is a component of Advanced WindowsCare made by IObit, which is why I asked about that software. But it's possible that an entirely different program uses the same designation for a different .exe, so it's worth checking. The easiest way is to search for awc in a File Explorer window (click This PC in the left panel first), then right-click on the entry and select Open file location. The file path should tell you what program installed it.
- @puzzlezaddict thank you!!! ok so i uninstalled it and ill try playing the game now in a completely new folder again and see if anything changes
- @nviiw update: no improvement ☹️ it seems like laptop mode was the only thing making the FPS increase a bit to max 35, my specs are supposed to be recommended not minimum so i know i can play with good quality and high fps, seems like my problem is something with my laptop or the sims 4 not using my nvidia card properly?
