Low sim bust resolution on opening screen Sims 4

Hi,  I have gotten a pretty nice pc and graphics card and monitor.  However the sims 4 homescreen is not sharp at all and my sim on "resume" looks really blurry.  I've tried changing the resol...

I'm late but I just stumbled upon your post. Did you delete the localthumbcache file? You need to do that in order for the game to generate new thumbnails. I do the same thing as you, and it works for me.
