Maid Died, game stuck

Hi,  the maid came to my house and died on the bathroom floor.  The Grim Reaper is outside just watching through a window.  I can't click on the maid or the grim reaper, nothing pops up.  Is there some sort of fix to this.  At the moment I cannot save or leave the house...  Please help.
