Maid Stuck Moping Puddles outside apartment walls

Maid Stuck in endless mopping loop trying to Mop Puddles outside apartment walls. How do i stop him ?( tried resetting him and that didn't work)

Also why do sims not know what walls are anymore? I also have toddlers that grab food from counters through the wall.. even though theres a clear path from the counter that doesnt require to go through a wall.
