Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

@stormythewormy I'm not sure what you mean when you say you've checked all your mods, as in, what did you do and what were the results?
Does the game load if you move your entire Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package? If it does NOT load, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then test again. If the game still does not load, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

If the game DOES load once you've moved the Sims 4 folder to the desktop, or once you've moved the Mods folder out, you can start adding your mods back. However, you may have a number of broken ones, so it may be best to download fresh copies that are confirmed compatible with patch 1.85.

I’ve checked every single mod as in I’ve gone through every file to make sure it’s compatible and synced, as well as ran a diagnostic for any “broken” mods. The only time the game loads is when I do not have mod files in; the game does not load with ANY mod files. It doesn’t matter what mod file it is, if I put just a single random mod file in then the game doesn’t accept it. The problem is not a broken or incompatible mod, it’s the fact that my game is now not accepting ANY mods after this update.
