Roseadoodle Wildstripe Memory Boost is standard now in Windows and macOS. And there's no reason anyone who can run Sims 4 in general shouldn't be able to use it. Roseadoodle What exactly about the configurations of your friends' PCs is stopping them from playing the game? If you're referencing the Windows Defender issue, that actually has nothing to do with Memory Boost itself and will hopefully be addressed soon. It's also not directly due to the Memory Boost update, since the game worked fine post-update until about 14 hours ago.

Since my laptop uses DX12, I suppose I'll have to continue to use either the -dx9 or -dx11 code via Launch Options on Steam then? (DX12 wasn't mentioned at all during the July dev Q&A on The Sims Discord, which is why I'm asking this question.) And will Memory Boost help prevent my saves from getting "corrupted" by the disappearing houses/lots glitch again?
