Missing crafted items from woodworking bench

I bought and started crafting sculptures and furniture on the woodworking bench.  It shows a notification tab in the right top corner that I have completed crafting the item and it's been put in hous...

    you can find the household inventory when you go to buy/build mode

The difference is that one is for a certain Sim and the other for the whole household.

Bigger items usually don't fit in the Sims inventory so they are put in the household inventory.

I guess there's a method to the madness. I would just have one full household inventory so any member of the house would have access to any and all inventory items *shrug* To each his own, as long as I have now found my crafted items :D
